This is the director's cut of the 1933 classic. It contains several scenes that were originally excised and is taken from a restored archive print. Kong looks as terrifying as ever and there is also a half-hour documentary of celebrating the 60th anniversary of the making of King Kong. Excellent stuff.

A truly epic epic and winner of 7 Academy Awards. Lawrence serves British colonial interests during the First World War by uniting the Arabs against the fast collapsing Ottoman Empire. Stupendous cinemascope drama with a cast of thousands and some of cinema's most famous shots; Sheik Ali's emergence from the desert haze and the storming of Aquaba for example. This is the director's cut, a more coherent version than the original cinema release.

It all really kicks off in Jackson's adaptation of Tolkien's second book; Frodo and Samwise team up with Gollum in their continuing quest, Aragorn's posse prepare for a last stand at Helmsdeep, the Ents get energised and a mighty new white wizard emerges from the forests. Captain Jack Sparrow has lost nearly everything; his treasure, his beloved boat, even his treacherous crew. What Jack hasn't lost however is his roguish charm, envious self-belief and a single minded determination that what was once his will become his again.
