Quite literally cowboys fighting against gold mining, body snatching aliens and as ridiculous as that sounds. Adapted from a graphic novel and with a suitably massive special effects budget Cowboys and Aliens is something of a mess, Though Harrison Ford comes out of it OK as the curmudgeonly Marshall.
