Moses takes his people on an epic 80 year amble to find the promised land, pursued by a suscpiciously caucasian Egyptian King. Plagues 'a' go, go, seas 'a' parting and dialogue to perish to.

Hollywood gives Noah's Ark another seeing to and chucks in a bit of Tolkienesque monster whimsy, just in case a wrathful god, his devoted servant and a lot of water doesn't quite hold you for the 2 plus hours running time. Some great and suitably epic special effects don't really save this from being a humourless, poorly scripted and weirdly cast trudge.
