A film adaption of the Greek myth of Perseus and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster to save the Princess. Brilliant family entertainment studded with gem-like cameos from the likes of Olivier and Ursula Andrews who really know how to make an epic performance larger than life. Great!

With no personal bias whatsoever you quite simply have to see this film. Fabulous special effects and superbly theatrical acting, this Greek myth is a hugely entertaining adventure romp, replete with multi-headed Hydras, warrior skeletons and bronze gods. Suspend disbelief and enjoy.

All the action is set prior to Robin becoming a renegade outlaw and leader of his Merry Men. Starting out as a common soldier in the Third Crusade he meets a dying Robert of Locksley, who he ends up impersonating. Voyaging to Nottinghamshire he finds himself fending off the evil traitor and all round bad guy, Godfrey, fighting for democratic rights, seeing off the dastardly French and rescuing Maid Marian from the surf.
