The year is 2055 and, if you are rich enough, you can go on a time-travel safari to bag yourself a dinosaur or whatever else takes your fancy. Sigourney Weaver returns as New and Improved Ripley. Utterly annihilated at the end of Alien 3, the bits of her left over have been patched up by mad, misguided space scientists, who've added more than a dash of alien DNA for good measure. This has the extraordinary effect of endowing her with a Harlem Globetrotter sized talent for basketball, and a nifty repertoire of one-liners to rival Oscar Wilde. It also gives her an enormous dose of that kick-ass attitude a girl needs if she's going to ove find out more...

Lucy Fife Donaldson says: "Mark Wahlberg is pulled back into the smuggling business when his brother-in-law falls foul of a no-good gang, run by Giovanni Ribisi (who looks and sounds the meanest he has yet). What follows is a fairly standard, but no less fun for it, caper of heist plans and double (double) crosses that goes to Panama and back. If you can’t fall for the easy charm of Wahlberg, not to mention the wiry charisma of Ribisi and Ben Foster, then this is unlikely to be of much find out more...

HULK (2003)

Where 'The Hulk' differs from recent comic book adaptations such as Spiderman, Batman and the awful Daredevil, is that there is no crime fighting ethic. The creature of the title is a genetic mutation unleashed and driven by anger and rage. What's more the genetic mutation was partly created by a fruitcake professor (Nolte) whose penchant for self-experimentation ensures his son Bruce (Bana) inherits a @*$*@%-up gene pool. For these reasons alone The Hulk has a darker and more sinister tone than find out more...

Virologist Robert Neville is stranded alone in New York with these neighbours from hell, immune to the virus and desperately searching for a cure that will make them less inclined to take a bite out of his arse. That is pretty much it, this weak adaptation of a dark and intriguing book was originally made into a much more effective and disturbing film, 'The Omeg find out more...
