The streets of London are the backdrop to the real stars, the dance routines, in this fun tale of a street dancing team forced to work alongside classical ballet dancers in an attempt to win a competition. This is all helped, of course, by a dollop of cross-discipline romance.

Pierre Dulaine is a ballroom instructor who finds himself in the unlikely, and at first unenviable, position of being hired by an inner city school to bring some focus to the lives of its most troubled students. Not surprisingly the kids are pretty unimpressed but Pierre's genuine passion slowly wins them over and the unruly mob gradually become a dancing force to be reckoned with.
