Bit of a hybrid, this one. An unlikely trio consisting of a young girl, a broody tranvestite and a middle aged hobo, all homeless, wander the neon streets of Tokyo. The original story remains only in essence but the futuristic/retro time setting is inspired, as is the mixture of CGI and traditional animation.
