A wicked little British movie about colourful goings one hot summer on a London housing estate. A touching tale of love friendship, life and sexuality as two next-door neighbours get to know each other in a film you won't want to end. Watch out for the one-liners in the very sassy script. find out more...

A frustrated, highly strung, spectacularly unsuccessful puppeteer inadvertently finds a passage way into the mind of John Malkovich and, uniquely skilled as he is in the art of manipulation, this seems like the perfect opportunity to escape his dead-end life and dull wife. There is little point in trying to explain the story further, you'll just have to watch this fantastically surreal, absurd, dark, gobsmackingly original comedy - the brainchild of a quite obviously seriously warped puppy. Hicks's acerbic and caustic sense of humour spares no blushes. Everything from religion to anti-smoking campaigners gets the treatment. Hicks's talent is to make you feel as if everything is your fault, and you ought to pay for it! Very OTT and always well observed. find out more...

The late, great Bill Hicks, tragically taken from us early in '94, live on stage at the Dominion Theatre in London. In this, his last performance, the outrageous comic plays to a sell-out audience and is as always, refreshingly irreverent, controversial and thought-provoking. Included in this tribute are clips of interviews with David Letterman and Jay Leno, brief interviews with comedians, including Sean Hughes and Eddie Izzard, anecdotal contributions from old school friends and his parents. Chaz Michael Michaels and Jimmy MacElroy are the kings of the ice and not surprisingly loath each other with a passion. When the two men are awarded joint gold at the world figure skating championships their mutual contempt comes to a head, the ugly brawl resulting in the loss of their medals and a lifetime ban from the sport. There is however one way round their problem, a loophole in the law that allows Chaz and Jimmy to skate as the first ever men's pair. Men in gaudy lycra is always going to find out more...

Tim Robbins wrote, directed and stars in a film that exposes very cleverly the underbelly of US politics. He plays the charismatic Roberts, a right-wing "protest" singer, whose views begin to capture the nation's interest. Sinister machinations abound behind the scenes, and the documentary style works well. Funny too!

What if Elvis didn't die on the 'john' in 1977, but switched identities with an Elvis impersonator during the early 1970's in order to escape the harsh glare of fame? Furthermore, suppose the real Elvis ended up in an East Texas retirement home rubbing shoulders with a black guy claiming to be JFK. Crazy?...Well maybe, but then again perhaps Elvis is alive and battling a soul-sucking mummy which is using his rest home as a feeding ground. Bubba Ho-Tep is a cult classic in every sense of the wor find out more...

Eight-year-old Zachary has, so far, enjoyed life as his father's favourite son, as the possessor of a gift for healing and as younger sibling to a tearaway, a jock and a bookworm, but this relatively idyllic childhood in Québec is cast under the shadow of his dad's suspicions when he is discovered wearing a dress. Seven years on it's 1975 and Zac is in thrall to Ziggy Stardust and his cousin's boyfriend, a confusing situation for him, made more complicated by a history of trying to satisfy his d find out more...

Seriously insightful, if saucy, romantic comedy from director Kevin Smith, the genius behind Clerks and Mallrats. Cult comic strip creators Holden (Ben Affleck) and Banky (Jason Lee) have an unshakeable 20 year friendship, until a spanner's thrown into the works in the shapely form of Alyssa, with whom Holden falls immediately and hopelessly in love. That Alyssa is a confirmed lesbian does little to deter the lovestruck Holden, who continues his relentless pursuit with a vigour matched only b find out more...
